cardziAI is a non-refundable subscription service. All fees paid for subscriptions and add-on scan packs are final and non-refundable. Try the product on the Free plan before committing — there is no charge to do so, and the Free tier is permanent, not a trial. The wording on this page is a working draft pending legal review.
Summary
- All paid plan fees are non-refundable. Once a billing cycle begins (monthly or yearly), the fee is final.
- Add-on scan packs are non-refundable. They never expire, so an unused pack remains on your account indefinitely.
- Cancel at any time. Your plan continues until the end of the cycle you've already paid for, then stops renewing. No additional charges, no auto-debit, nothing to claim back.
- Service credits may be issued for material, verified service outages (see Section 4) — applied to your next billing cycle, never as cash.
- Genuine billing errors (duplicate charges, system errors on our end) are corrected promptly.
1. Free plan
Every account starts on the Free plan, which includes 50 scans per month at no cost. The Free plan is permanent, not a trial — there is no time limit and no card on file. Use it to evaluate cardziAI for as long as you need. There is nothing to refund on the Free plan because there is nothing paid for.
2. Paid subscriptions
Paid plans (Starter, Business, Team) bill in advance — monthly or yearly. Once a billing cycle has started, the fee for that cycle is non-refundable. This applies to:
- partial months where you used the service for any period;
- yearly plans cancelled partway through the year;
- plan changes initiated within a cycle (upgrades, downgrades);
- account cancellation at any point during a paid cycle.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current cycle, after which it stops renewing and you drop back to the Free plan. We do not pro-rate or refund any portion of the unused cycle.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately and any price difference is charged. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle to keep the running cycle fully usable. No refund is issued for a downgrade.
3. Add-on scan packs
Add-on scan packs (100, 650, or 1,500 scans) are one-time purchases and are non-refundable from the moment of purchase, including if no scans have been used yet. To balance that, add-on scans never expire: they remain on your account indefinitely, stack on top of plan allowances, and survive plan changes, cancellations, and re-subscriptions.
Before buying an add-on pack, confirm the size you need. Multiple smaller packs cost more per scan than a single larger one.
4. Service outage credits
If cardziAI experiences a material service outage — measured as more than 8 hours of cumulative downtime in a single calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance windows and third-party platform issues (WhatsApp, payment gateways, customer-side network problems) — eligible paid customers can request a service credit.
Service credits are applied as scan allowance or as a discount on the next invoice. Credits are not issued as cash refunds. Free-plan accounts are not eligible for outage credits.
To request a credit, email [email protected] within 30 days of the affected month with your account email and a short description of the impact.
5. Billing errors
If you believe you've been charged in error — duplicate payment, charge after cancellation, an upgrade you didn't authorise — contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge appearing on your statement. We investigate, and where we confirm a genuine billing error on our end, we reverse the incorrect charge.
Billing-error corrections are not refunds — they are corrections of mistaken transactions, processed back to the original payment method.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback through your bank or card issuer. We can resolve most billing concerns directly and faster than a card dispute would. Unjustified or repeated chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of chargeback fees through legal channels.
